Trying to stay clear of the time slots devoted to America For Christ, One Great Hour of Sharing, World Mission Offering and the MMBB Thank You Offering has been a difficult dance. Encouraging churches to give to the Region Offering "just whenever" has not been helpful either. And yet, support of the Region Offering is becoming more and more critical to the vital ongoing ministries we share together in the Central Region. The opportunity for Central Region churches to share in the blessings of faithful and generous giving is too important for a "just whenever" approach.

Instead of "just whenever," Central Region churches are challenged to schedule the Region Offering as a special 5th Sunday offering and celebrate the ways we partner together to accomplish great things for Christ in the Central Region.

In 2013, fifth Sundays will fall in March, June, September and December. Give joyously and give generously to the RO5 and make a difference in providing for healthy, vital regional ministry.

Be a vital partner in helping sister churches discern God's will for their future and find the pastoral leadership needed to carry them forward in healthy Christ-like ministry. Your gifts to the Region Offering help sustain the vital ministry of guiding and assisting local congregations in the pastoral search and call process. Your church has been there. You can make a difference for sister churches when their time comes to look for pastoral leadership.
