Cindy Sossoman joined the ABC/CR staff on August 15, 1986, as the
camping and general office secretary. Prior to that she was employed with the
Topeka School System. Cindy now serves as the Administrative Assistant and
attends all Executive Committee meetings, Board meetings and the Annual
Convention as the recording secretary. She oversees the general flow of the
daily office work and serves as the Executive Minister's assistant.
Her husband, Jack, is a retired Southwestern Bell Engineer. He is
currently employed as an engineer with Sprint in Kansas City. They have four
children and three grandchildren, all in Topeka and Olathe.
Cindy was born in Newburgh, New York, and lived in Virginia and
Kansas before she became a world traveler at the age of six. She lived in
Sutton Surrey, England, for four years, spent a summer traveling through
Europe, returned to the States and ended up attending high school in Lubbock,
Texas. She attended one semester at Texas Tech and then enrolled in Business
School. Upon completion of her courses, she moved to Ankara, Turkey, where she
worked as a Civil Service employee for the U.S. Army. This is also where she
met Jack who was serving in the US Air Force.
Cindy owns a golden retriever named Tipper. Her hobbies and
interests include golfing, sewing, cross stitch and trying her hand at all
types of crafts. |
